Portfolio Management Services.

Bespoke services tailored for you.

Cedar offers investment management and advice through individually managed accounts. As you’ll see from the table below, managed accounts provide considerable advantages over managed funds to grow your wealth.

Within these accounts, Cedar holds all assets directly in the client’s name - whether they’re an individual, company, trust or SMSF – and all accounts are held separately from Cedar’s other client accounts.

Complete transparency.

Investment transparency is one of Cedar’s key pillars. We provide ongoing and detailed communication to clients, outlining all investment recommendations in a detailed email prior to execution. And if further clarification is required, your adviser is always on hand to discuss a recommendation in more detail.

Clients have online access to their portfolio which provides a complete picture including unlisted investments.

Each quarter, you’ll receive an in-depth performance report that provides a detailed summary of your total returns, which is compared to the ASX 200 benchmark and current cash rates over multiple time frames.

Clients can monitor and view all transactions, with 24/7 online access. As a primarily-listed, directly-held investment portfolio, withdrawals can be made within three working days.

Performance monitoring.

You are provided with a detailed performance report each quarter, providing returns over various time frames and benchmarked against the index and current cash rates.

Beneficial ownership.

As the beneficial owner of your investments, you receive all dividends and franking credits.

All client administration.

Investing directly in shares involves paperwork, contract notes and corporate actions. Cedar takes care of all administration and reports required at tax time.

Investment execution.

Cedar portfolio clients are emailed investment recommendations simultaneously. Received orders are collated and executed in bulk with all clients – including Cedar adviser portfolios – receiving the same price, being the average of all transacted stock.

Investment Strategies

  • The Stable Investment Strategy is suitable for investors who have a low tolerance to risk but want a return above cash rates. Typical clients have a greater desire to retain wealth than to aggressively grow their wealth. Stable Investment Strategy clients are usually in, or close to, the pension phase as opposed to the accumulation phase of the investment life cycle.

  • Our Growth Investment Strategy is suitable for investors who desire to grow their wealth exceeding the market average. Clients typically choose this strategy during the accumulation phase of the investment cycle, where they have the time to manage the higher levels of volatility that come with high-growth investments.
